Piqabu Transparency Report — [PERIOD]
Period covered: [DATE] to [DATE] Published: [DATE] Authored by: Wyetey LTD
This is Piqabu's [Nth] Transparency Report. We publish one every six months — once in January (covering the previous July to December) and once in July (covering January to June).
For our policy on responding to legal requests, see Law Enforcement Response Policy.
1. Summary
In the period covered:
- We received [N] legal requests for user data.
- We produced records in response to [N] of those requests.
- We challenged [N] requests on legal grounds.
- We were unable to produce the requested data — because we do not hold it — in [N] cases.
A complete breakdown is in Section 3 below.
2. Warrant canary
As of [DATE], Wyetey LTD has not received any national security letter, court order, or other instrument requiring us to take action that we have been forbidden from disclosing in this report.
If a future Transparency Report omits this statement, that omission is meaningful.

4. What we produced
When we produced records, the data fell into one of the following categories. We produced only data we already held — we did not build new collection or surveillance capability.
| Category | Number of requests producing this data |
|---|---|
| Ghost ID + first/last seen timestamps | [N] |
| Subscription tier and Pro expiry date | [N] |
| Payment transaction references | [N] |
| Feedback / helpdesk message history | [N] |
We did not produce any of the following — because by design we do not hold them:
- Message contents.
- Image, audio, video, or file contents.
- IP address histories beyond the moment of connection.
- Real names, phone numbers, or non-Paystack-derived email addresses.
- Location data.
5. User notification
We notified affected users in [N] of [N] cases where data was produced. The remaining notifications were withheld because:
- The legal process explicitly prohibited notification (gag order): [N] cases.
- A specific risk of physical harm to a person would have arisen from notification: [N] cases.
- Notification would have obstructed an active investigation we were required to facilitate: [N] cases.
6. Account / device actions
In the same period, separate from legal requests:
- We blocked [N] Ghost IDs for violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- We reported [N] instances of CSAM to the Cyber Security Authority of Ghana and to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
- We received [N] vulnerability reports through our coordinated disclosure programme. Of those, [N] were valid security issues, all resolved by the close of this period.
7. Service operations summary (non-personally-identifying)
For context, aggregate statistics about the service in the period:
- Lifetime devices registered (cumulative): [N]
- Monthly active devices, average across the period: [N]
- Total rooms created in the period: [N]
- Total Piqabu Pro purchases in the period: [N]
- Total support tickets received: [N], median response time [X] hours.
8. About this report
